"All Praises Within": a poem for those with the inward gaze
There will never be nor has there ever been another me, of that I am sure.
And for that, I infuse into everyone of my daily activities self-care, for now and forever more.
For there are many dimensions of me, infnite rabbit holes of which I am excited to explore.
Many mini-nations within that all pledge their allegiance to me, they sing my highest praises, adulation galore.
For it is me who is the determining factor of my destiny, never has there been a more natural born fact.
If you could place a finger on me, no sooner than the touch would I be something different, my multidimensional nature is not an act.
I love me some me and for a long time, to others’ benefit and my detriment, the self-love within suffered an extreme lack.
But I stand, or rather write before you today to tell you one thing and one thing only. I am me, all parts of me and there is absolutely nothing that, with my self-negligence in mind, can take me back.
